The staff was super friendly, the room was spacious, the breakfast was great, location is good. The bed was super comfy. I would probably visit this hotel again when i would go back to San Diego.

We stayed here last year and liked the hotel. It was a Kimpton then. The suite was large and well appointed. The bathroom(s) were great. Vouchers for wine daily were a great touch. And much appreciated. Front staff were helpful and engaging.

Check-in was quick. It’s always nice to be greeted with a smile. Forgive me for spelling her name wrong, but Taleah was awesome. She was efficient by checking me in and providing information at the same time. As crazy as it may sound, I don’t encounter many who can multi task as she did (and I travel A LOT). There is an option to valet OR you can pay to park your vehicle in a parking garage right across the street from the hotel. Who doesn’t like options?!

Everything was just exceptional. It’s modern, really well furnished, stylish, relaxing. Staff were lovely throughout. Rooms spacious and bright. Great pool and gym and entertainment options. Incredibly well connected for public transport and close to Balboa park. Good breakfast and coffee. Honestly surpassed my expectations!

We liked the rooms and the clean rooms and facilities. We also enjoyed the atmosphere. we had the feeling that people could enjoy the bar and lounge which you don't see in a lot of hotels

We really liked the breakfast credits and guest credits. In total we had $85 in credits each day which made it feel like an all inclusive resort. Free glass of wine at night, free bikes to use around the city, and yoga class Saturday morning. Upgraded our room for free and let us check in very early.

Great location for downtown and close to restaurants and night life. Helpful staff that offered us an alternative to breakfast which we had to miss due to other plans.

Great location - walking distance to Balboa Park , Convention Center, Midway & Coronado Island Ferries. The breakfast was fantastic-great selection. Especially enjoyed the morning coffee - both hot & ice coffee was available every morning. The afternoon wine & food sampling was a pleasant surprise. The staff was very professional, friendly and more importantly available to assist in any manner. The hotel was recently renovated and is very chic. Our room was the corner room on the 17th for with a view of the city. Large room and very quiet. The yoga class Saturday morning was a nice surprise. Would stay there again if I’m in SD !!!
